Hi, I’m Cyan, and I’ve been cutting hair for almost 20 years and trained locally and internationally with schools including Vidal Sassoon and DevaCurl. After doing every possible hairstyle in my own hair, I decided to embrace my natural curls after the birth of my oldest son. My curly hair journey is what made me passionate about helping others learn to embrace and appreciate their natural waves, curls and coils. After working with some of the top teams in and around Montreal, opening Aura Beauté with Sherrie feels like the natural progression of my career. I’m thrilled to finally be able to welcome my clients into a comfortable and more private space.

 

Hello,I’m Sherrie, a licensed hairstylist working at Aura Beauté in Montreal, Quebec. I am a mom to PrincessP.

I feel lucky to have discovered my talent, love and passion for hair at a young age. I’ve been passionate about all things hair as long as I can remember; some might even say I am obsessed. I consider myself an artist with an eye for details. My greatest joy is helping my clients love how they look and feel. 

This year I’ve taken the leap of faith with my business partner Cyan and opened a space where our clients can be their true authentic selves. We will be doing things a little bit differently and we hope to help change up the beauty industry.

Over the years, I’ve worked with all different hair textures. I am constantly updating my education by attending seminars and training courses all over Canada and the United States of America.
